Can't hardly wait

It's Sunday night and I can barely sit still. In a couple of days my family and I are flying out to our homeland to relax in the sun with our feet in the pristine aqua beaches. I hope to be inspired while I am out there. I hope for a firework of creativity. And I hope for some great drinks! Until I return...tanned out and ready to soar! :)

Inspired

I don't exactly remember how I stumbled upon this e-course but I am so happy I did. Since being a new mom, I've been feeling as though I've been losing myself. I stopped taking pictures, creating anything and everything and even stopped reading books if they had nothing to do with parenting or pregnancy or anything baby/toddler related. Kelly Rae's course has truly inspired me once again. It has given me that slightest push to open up my artsy/creative side.

I absolutely cannot wait until I have enough pieces for me to post to the world!! :)

she was driving me crazy

So I have been wanting to create a "blog" forever but just never got around to doing so. Until my soon to be 10 year old niece discovered "blogging." She did not let me go to bed until I created this blog. So here I am. Blogging away.

Since this is my "Intro" I must define my title. Once upon a time I had this baby girl, her name is Anneliese. This new life called "mommyhood" was something I always thought of as familiar, as "I've pretty much raised my niece -- of course I know what I'm in for!." Boy was I taken on a journey. A journey where I realized that my every action was to be her reaction - if that makes any sense. I was leading her into this journey called life. A life which I am paving for her as her needle and she as my thread.

Her world is my pattern, a pattern filled with all the colors of the world. My job is now to thread her happy. wish me luck!
